Afternoon Tea for Two at The Priest House by the River
Where better to indulge in the delicious English tradition of afternoon tea than against the charming backdrop of the Priest House by the River? Arranged neatly on the banks of the River Trent, this beautiful venue dates back almost 1000 years. You and you lucky loved one will receive a warm welcome on arrival, before being seated and treated to a delightful spread. Expect fruit scones with homemade jam and clotted cream, freshly baked pastries and cakes, and a selection of sandwiches, with fillings including smoked salmon, cream cheese and watercress and cucumber and cracked black pepper. All this is served alongside a piping hot pot of tea – the centrepiece of this wonderful British ritual!
