Eating oysters is a truly decadent experience – in essence, it’s tasting the sea in solid form – but not everyone is clued-up on which are best and how to prepare and eat them. Friendly staff whose knowledge of these succulent shellfish is second to none will introduce you to different types of rock oyster, and teach you to shuck them safely. Of course, you’ll get to eat them every which way while you’re learning, and there’ll be a glass of champagne to wash them down. While you’re busy with your oysters, chefs will also be busy, rustling you up a delicious three-course lunch – and each course will be served with a matched wine selected by the Head Sommelier. Once you finish your lunch, you’ll be well-equipped to share your love of shellfish with future lunch guests, because you’ll be presented with a goodie bag containing apron, oyster knife and recipe cards to take home.
